The files in this directory are being provided as historical
code value.  We do not maintain md5 checksums or gpg signatures
for the source code provided in this directory.

Future releases of BitchX which cause old source tarballs to
be moved out of the primary release directory will be moved to
the new directory of history/ and will continue to have checksums
and signatures from the FTP site administrators to verify integrity.

Please be aware that there are no known "backdoors" in any of the
code provided in this directory.  If you find such a thing that
would be intentionally placed in the code please email sin@bitchx.org
with details so that the file may be taken offline or the problem
corrected.
